Cheeky Chimps has some fantastic news for you our customers. Starting Friday, 23 July, 2010 we are bringing back FREE ADMISSION FOR CHILDREN. That's right FREE ADMISSION FOR ALL CHILDREN. It's a very simple offer all children get in for free and adults pay just £1. Every day, every time even weekends and busy times still FREE ADMISSION FOR CHILDREN.
We know how difficult it is for our customers at the moment and we want a business that is there for the long term. We were the first children's play zone in the area and for your continued support we want to give you something fantastic during this school holiday period.
Plus as if that wasn't enough all the time that free admission is still running MOST OF OUR PARTIES WILL BE HALF PRICE. All premium and laser parties will be half price. All standard parties will be two pounds off. Our low budget and pizza party will not be discounted. To qualify for this low price you must book and pay a deposit at least 10 days before the party. The party must be booked to take place before 31 August, 2010. Once the free admission and stops it would not be possible to book a half price or discount a party. However if free admission stops and you've already booked you will get it at that lower price.
We know that this offer will be the best that you will find that we don't want to give our competition any advantage. Therefore WE ARE UNABLE TO TELL YOU HOW LONG THIS OFFER WILL LAST. It may last all summer or it may just be for a short period. We promise you that we will give you three days notice on the website telling you when the offer will finish. If you're unsure as to whether the free offer is still running either call us or visit the website.
Will advise you take advantage of this free admission and low price party deal while it's still here because it could be gone in just a few days time (or it could last all summer).
We have a fair use policy maximum 4 children per adult are free any extra children will be charged as adults just £1. Registered Child minders 6 children per adult then £1. Groups of over 12 we advise you tell us in advance in case we at capacity.
We think nobody does a better deal than Cheeky Chimps.
Obviously we expect to be quite busy with this offer and we do have a limit to the number of people that we can safely have occupy the building. We therefore advise that you try to visit outside of the busiest times. When we first open and from about 3:30 PM during the school holidays are the quietest times. Obviously our kitchen will be extremely busy during this time and we advise that you place your food order and immediately after being seated. We plan to add a refrigerator at reception selling cold drinks to help take the pressure off of the kitchen Servery.

Cheeky Chimps is proud to be a new member of the play providers Association. You can visit their website for details of special offers across all their members.
The professional play providers Association has high standards which we at Cheeky Chimps intend to continue to meet.
If at any time you feel we are not living up to those standards please don't hesitate to contact us.
Our advice is that whenever you visit a play zone anywhere in the country that you check that they are a member of the Association to ensure that they meet the exacting standards necessary for the safety of your children.

NEW CARPET & MUCH MORE 22-09-2009

Thanks to all our customers who have been filling in our survey. We are please to announce that we have taken your comments seriously and have made some
MAJOR IMPROVEMENTS TO CHEEKY CHIMPS.
WE WILL REOPEN PROPERLY WEDNESDAY 23rd.
We have spent over £50,000 improving Cheeky Chimps, we want it to be the safest, cleanest, best and above all most fun playzone in the area.
So far some of the things you highlighted that you feel we could improve most were.
We asked you because we care and we want to deliver.
• NEW CARPETS. - We have ordered new carpets and they will be fitted in September.
• NEW PARTY ROOMS. - We have completed this and you are welcome to examine the new refitted rooms.
• RE PAINT TOILETS. – We have finished repainting the toilets; we are installing new extraction fans and automatic air fresheners.
• REPLACE OLD WORN EQUIPMENT – All the older worn equipment has been replaced, new netting where needed has been replaced, including new mats, entirely new features added to the zone. It will mean that the zone is up with safety standards and our fun play standards.
• COMPREHENSIVE CLEAN. – We clean the equipment regularly but it has been cleaned from top to bottom and totally disinfected.
• DOOR ENTRY SAFETY - We have installed new magnetic locks the children cannot open them self. We are also adding finger trap guards to some doors to prevent even the possibility of kids trapping fingers.
• CLEAN THE ROOF AREA - This has been done.
• IMPROVED GAMES ROOM – We have added new machines some with play costing just 2p. Many will offer prizes.
• IMPROVED SHOP – We will be refreshing the offer in the shop area and reducing the price of many items to just £1 pocket money price.
• SEPARATE OLDER AND YOUNGER KIDS – We have enclosed the toddler area and added new equipment.
• FASTER FOOD SPEED. – We have added extra staff at busy times and will be amending some menu choices and operating systems at busy times to help. We also plan to offer an express menu that will feature faster choices.
We look forward to showing you the new improvements.

Car parking at Cheeky Chimps 30-08-2009
Due to the success about free admission campaign this week have been working on the marking our car park so there are clear car parking spaces.
In our continued commitment to make things easier for our disabled visitors we are installing a dedicated disabled parking bay as well as an extra large minibus parking bay which are both to be situated close to the entrance door.
We have also marked three extra wide spaces just as you enter the car park on the right-hand side and would be grateful if only visitors with larger vehicles or with access difficulties parked in these three spaces.
We are committed to improving all aspects of Cheeky Chimps and welcome your comments via the contact us section on our website.
Hopefully the new markings will help all our visitors gain a car parking space during this very busy period.
I'd also like to take this opportunity to remind all visitors that they should take extreme care when leaving the premises and hold the hand of their child or keep their child in a pushchair until they are safely in your vehicle or off of the site. Please also take care when walking along the pathway is that you do not trip over the fire exits steps of the other buildings.
The cheeky chimps car park is for the exclusive use of Cheeky Chimps customers if you notice any abuse of this please let us know.

REDECORATION OF OUR TOILET AREA 21-07-2009
As part of our continued plan to improve our facilities have redecorated all of our toilet areas. We have already installed new lighting to ensure that they are brighter.
Please inform a member of staff if at any time the toilets need extra cleaning.

MAKE A DATE WITH A PLATE 12-05-2009
As part of our total transformation of our party rooms we have continued the theme being by bringing in new party plates. The plates suit both rooms as they are crafted into the shape of a cheeky cartoon chimp. The two themes of our party rooms are jungle world and cartoon world. The plates will be used for the majority of children's parties. We do have a very large quantity of plates which means they should be available most of the time.

New manager at Cheeky Chimps 08-05-2009
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Jane Wardle as our new general manager here at Cheeky Chimps.
Jane has been a popular member of our staff for some time and has been promoted to the position of general manager with immediate effect.
She will be working with Richard Borthwick Managing Director of the company to improve the facilities for our customers and make sure that you all enjoy the experience of visiting our play zone.
Please feel free to contact Jane if you have any concerns about any aspect of your visit to Cheeky Chimps and I'm sure she will be happy to assist you.
As the Managing Director of the company I'm pleased to say that I was spoilt for choice in appointing Jane as there were many other outstanding candidates within the company who also would have made excellent managers.
Jane will work with our team of other staff to give you the best service that we can.
